Her speaking and teaching interests center on questions that matter to healthcare professionals and organizations: how we lead intentionally, how communication shapes care, how empathy influences care experience, how we preserve human connection within complex systems, and how we develop professionals who can pair technical competence with the art of caring.

For more than a year, she has facilitated education within healthcare organizations focused on communication, empathy, and care experience, with particular attention to the everyday interactions that shape how patients, families, and healthcare teams experience care. This work draws on her leadership and education experience, and it remains distinct from the findings of her 2019 grounded theory research.
